Got this budwood from a contact in CA last year. They thought it was a Feminello lemon, said it was labeled as "Italian lemon". I grafted it to swingle, so it is not Eureka...

Just beautiful, Laaz. It looks more vigorous than the Pink Eureka, too. Love to have that, gorgeous! hate-bravo

I was thought it's an Eureka but not it's a Foliis Variegatis grafted last year, may be sanguineum. Rolling Eyes

Eureka does not take to trifoliata, so if your rootstock is trifoliata then you do not have Eureka.

Hmm. my Eureka (aka Mayer) is, seems to me, grafted on PT. Now, again, I'm not sure what I have. Question
Karoly, let us know what you think about taste of those lemons (when that time come).
I'm not impressed with what I have, however as my daughter say "They are not too bad if compared with off-season grocery lemons and they look nice".

All my Eureka are grafted on PT and they do well.

The Eureka budwood I used must have not known it wasn't supposed to grow on trifoliate.

I have tried many times & the Eureka has never taken to trifoliata or swingle. Graft it to another lemon, no problem.
