My Cipo Orange Tree is about 3ft high and across and looks like it will eventually have a crop of about 2 dozen fruit later this winter.
I keep checking Google about this variety but can find almost nothing.
Do any of you folks grow this one..or have heard of it?
I see it is in the citrus collection at Riverside but no pics or info about it.

Finally found it after I put weeping orange into the search.

Still wondering why Cipo hasn't created much of a market in the home garden area?
Mine looks beautiful..dunno what it will taste like as this is it's first year.

Here's a link to a photo of Cipo, growing at a ranch in NE São Paulo State, Brazil. It was trained over an arch, like a vine, and in English, the folks there called it the vine orange, or vining orange.

Glenn 50 --- That photo you found of Cipo was taken by me in Riverside in 2002. I was using my first digital camera, nowhere near as good as todays most basic models. Anyway, I've dug out the original from my files and here it is - bigger and at somewhat better resolution than on the website.

The arch looks great. Darn if I had only known before I planted it 3 years ago I could have done something like that. In the wrong position now..never mind.

Mike thank you. I was browsing your site a few evenings ago having a good look at your Italian pages plus others. Oh to be so close to such culture instead of being stuck down at the bottom of the Pacific where nothing is over 170 years old Smile
Anything to report on your Faustrimedin X Pummelo ?
