I'm thinking of planting some more sweet oranges. Has anyone tasted a Louisiana Sweet orange? What did you think?

I have had naval oranges from So LA and they were delicious--I did not ask the variety.

I believe the Louisiana Sweet is just another name for Hamlin. I have seen tags with Louisana Sweet followed by the name Hamlin.

I have two Hamlin/ La sweets and I like them. Very sweet but hard to peal. Ned is correct about Hamlins and La Sweets being the same. The LSU agcenter makes no distinction between the two.
