This may be a strange question, but:
I'm in the process of renovating a house (and, of course, yard) and looking to install a VRF/multiple mini-split HVAC. I'm concerned, though, that it will create a cold spot in the yard while heating the house in the winter. Does anyone have a sense of whether the diffusion of heat through external air even on a still day would typically be sufficient to offset any effect the heat pump might have? Or should I avoid siting it near to or uphill from where I would like citrus and other cold sensitive plants?
