Hello there.
I am from Denmark-and although you cannot imagine that we grow Citrus up her -we actually do.!
I miss a Topic called growing " Citrus species "-like Citrus ichangensis ect.
I have a 2.4 m tall Citrus ichangensis grown from seeds from China( now 10 years old and it flowered for the first time last year ), Lemon and Lime as well as Kaffir lime and a few others!
They are all grown in my winter garden where I can keep the temperature above 10 C in winther. In summer it is another story as it can be VERY hot 45 C.
My dream is to get seeds of Citrus " bergamo ".
If anyone want to trade seeds of some of my lilies I am interested.
I am growing a varity of garden seeds and I am specially into lilies -see:

You are growing some fabulous lillies! How long does it take from seed to flower? I have a few lillies growing outside, but always attacked by the awful lilly beetle.
I have some Citrus bergamia (Bergamot) fruit currently developing. Presently about 5cms diameter - they may have seeds when mature in a couple of months. Send me an email to remind me if you're still interested. Or if you're into budding/grafting citrus I can send you some budwood.
Mike.

Just a follow up.

One of the budded small trees flowered this year and now has 5 grape sized fruits.
Just to be sure to have Citrus bergamia I bought a plant in Germany that now has 6 fruits, but much smaller than the ones grafted to Poncirus trifoliata.
I will ad a picture of both later.
I cannot express my gratitude to the doner!

My present status is 11 different citrus and I am running out of room in my winter garden.

I had the pleasure to make a very young Dane ( I am 57 and he`s half my age ) interested in Citrus and although you might don`t understand much of his Homepage, he already has quite a lot of interesting species.
