Not a citrus but a cheerful surprise at Christmas time. Sure lifts the spirits during the winter time.

Nice plant Joe, I believe it is the first time I have seen one. I am sure it is the first time I have seen one bloom.

Thank you Sir. I grow several types of Bromeliads including red, blue and pink quills. This is the first time that I've had one bloom...usually I see only their colored paddle shaped display. I think they have to be pretty happy to bloom. This one is located by the propagation/mist table so it stays very moist. The "other" plants still take second place to the citrus. I'll get a photo of the FD seedlings to you soon.

Actually, I did not know that they had a flower in addition to the paddle. Nice plant, Joe. It was a nice sight this morning when I check my mail. Merry Christmas. - Millet
