Kumquat? while visiting Flordia last March, the neighbor gave me what he thought was a Kumquat? Can anyone tell if this is a Kumquat? Thanks Millet on the 50/50 cedarmulch peet mixture! All my Citrus trees look vantastic!! The Citrus Tree in this photo has grown 2ft+ and is still putting on new growth, neighbor dug it up from the ground, it had a long taproot, curled it around the bottom of container when repotting it, so far doing great!!

Meiwa kumqaut seems probable, given the narrow petiole wings (nagami kumqauts really don't have any petiole wings, and often have more curvature to the petioles, it seems). Mandarin of some sort is also possible.

My first thought was an Orange seedling, not a straight Fortunella kumquat.
These leaves are toothed, and spines long, not usual in Fortunella.
Mandarin is also possible, depending on cultivar.
If it is definetly a kumquat, Orangequat or Mandarinquat etc more likely.
I tried some Fort leaves, and they are incredibly bitter, so you could compare the taste scent of your plant with known cultivars.
