Well I have lived in oklahoma 34 years and this is the very first time I have ever seen citrus trees for sale at Walmart here. Lowes and Homedepot used to but not for years and the independent nurseries always have but never at Walmart. Even a local Grocery store that usually has Dekopon fruit is selling small trees. typical stuff, meyer lemon, key lime and calamondin.

Walmart is selling something that immediately made me think of Laaz, Variegated pink lemon Laughing They also are selling something that made me laugh a bit. They call it a "cocktail tree" but upon closer inspection it was just a Meyer and Key lime potted in the same container.

so i guess Oklahoma is becoming a citrus state...haha.

Yeah I passed on them. Plus they want $20 for a barely over a foot tall tree.

I picked up a Okitsu Wase Satsumas, Fukushu Kumquat and Calamondin from Home Depot in Greater Vancouver. The first two had no fruit or blossoms but the Calamondin is covered in both fruits and blossoms. But yeah, getting a citrus from WM is not something I would consider.

Just added 3 Kishu Mandarins, a Weeping Naval and a Cara Cara Naval orange tree from Tropic2Tropic. Ray is a local home nursery guy who specializes in citrus and exotic plants.

Its branches "weep" like a weeping willow tree. Root stock is flying dragon and its got lots of buds and baby fruit on it.

I bought a Cara Cara, a weeping Washington Navel and a Calamondin Kumquat from Ray at Tropic to Tropic. I had ordered a Kishu but Ray said a customer must have pulled off the saved sign as he couldn't find it when he was shipping my trees so he sent the weeping Washington. I've tried to find some info on the weeping navel but so far nothing. All 3 trees came in great condition and will order again from Ray next spring, still hoping to get the Kishu Smile

That site is so funny. I'm pretty sure Oklahoma wal-marts have contributed a few of those. Haha.
