Robert produces some very nice hybrid cycads, as well as the more common cycads.

Are the cycads generally cold hardy to zone 8? I sew a lot of cycad around in our zone 9 area.

Depending on what map you use we are zone 8b or 9a. We rarely drop into the hi teens. Most winters we drop to about 25 or so a few nights out of the year. We have cycads here in just about every yard.
