First of all I would like to thank everyone on this site for all of the great info and knowlege.

I have 4 citrus; 2 Meyers Lemon, 1 Mexican Lime, and 1 Satsuma Orange.
I aquired my first citrus which was a Meyers about 3 years ago. I really had no clue how much care these things needed. I thought I could just put this thing in dirt and I'll have lemons in no time. Well, I found out differently after I first repotted it. I used Miracle Grows Moister Control, and was in an unheathy state for a couple months. I then moved into an upstairs apartment, put the tree on the balcony, and in Tx heat it nearly baked; im guessing it got well over 110 F sitting on concrete slab. I thought all was lost, and in a last ditch effort I trimmed it down to the base and 2 leaves which was the only things that appeared to be living. I repotted and brought it inside and surprizingly it bounced right back. Since then I've moved into a house and aquired the rest of my citrus, but left them in the soil they came with. Last summer my lemon started acting up again, so I searched the web and came across this site. After reading all these posts I was surprised that my poor little lemon was still even around.

After doing all my research, last fall I repotted all my citrus in a 5-1-1 Mix (I believe was the main problem for my lemon) and many other things. They did well throughout the short winter with little WLD. It looks like Spring is comming early in Tx, Today was 80F and morning low was mid 40s. With this week of Spring like weather my trees are putting out new foilage. Im pretty excited and can't wait to see what this growing season has in store.

Again thank you everybody for passing around all your knowlege.

It looks like your trees are doing well for you now. You should be able to enjoy some fresh fruit soon. I wish you luck. Tim.
