I know millet has recommended Peters 25-5-15 fertilizer for container citrus (Meyer lemons/Bearrs lime) but I can't locate it in under 25# bags and it is only available from wholesalers. I don't have enough citrus trees to justify this size. I've seen other citrus growers recommend Foliage Pro & Dyna-Gro ProTeKt (potassium/silicon for stronger cell walls) What do millet and other experts on this forum think of this as a reasonable alternative to "professional" citrus fertilizers available only in large quantities. Or should I just look for a retail citrus/palm fertilizer? I would be using Dynamite 18-6-12 w/ minors as my slow-release fertilizer. Thanks everybody.
The Dynamite is all I use on my container citrus, but if you want to supplement it with a soluble fertilizer in water, any high nitrogen fertilizer will do--applied at 150 to 300 ppm.

I've been using FP w/Protekt for over a year on all my container citrus. They are doing well, but I have nothing to compare it to since I did not setup a control case and comparison with other ferts.
