Nice video!
He does different than I was told. So instead of cutting a bud shield in T-Buding, he simply stuff that in.
And he uses a different thing to wrap. He said parafilm.. I have Parafilm M, and in my opinion it deliveres to less pressure to the bud to sucessfull take. So I use Budding tape vom Amleo.
Also, in his vid the bud drops down, as with my video were I touch the backside of the bud with my finger-tips, that should better not happen Rolling Eyes
And the chip bud... He's doing a straight cut, and I do a wedged cut at the buds bottom end, just to place it better into the cut'n notch at the rootstock.
I align one side and see that the curve of the bow at the buds upper end also aligns as good as possible, he simply cuts it off.... and again uses that Parafilm... Rolling Eyes

That looks so easy, but is so different. Confusing.

You may have to open the T like he did with apples, but with citrus I don't do that-- I use the bud to force the T open.

Second, he cuts the bottom of the bud, I do not--I make one straight cut and have a tapered end on both ends of the bud.

I sometimes use what is called an inverted T--I use the top of the bud and insert it upwards (the T is at the bottom of the stock).

With apple, and working in cooler weather, speed may not be as important, but citrus T budding has to be done in warmer periods, where drying is a factor.
