In my opinion they do much better when planted in the ground.

Sorry, I was at my sister's for dinner this evening, so I was not here to comment. The first picture is the Marisol Clementine on December 18, 2005, The day it was planted, and the second picture is the tree one year later. This tree was lighted to 15 hour days, and soil heated to 78-83F degrees day and night during the entire year. It had five growth flushes during the year. I am going to keep up this same regiment for the next year and post another picture on December 18, 2007. I picked off all blooms and did not let the tree produce a single fruit. The tree's growth during the second year should be about two to three times greater than the tree was able to produce during year one. - Millet
