I had to search for you and i recognize a few names here too.
I have moved to Perth western australia now.....Lived in nz for 22 years and grew citrus in terracotta pots over there.
I have 6 new trees in plastic pots....just bought them and here they are....
plus a dwarf avocado too..........and a view from the mint.

Glad to see you back.. I clicked on the link, but it must be temperately down. Living in Perth, you should be able to grow any cultivar of citrus outside in the ground. The lowest average temperature is 68F. We are always happy to have you back as a member. In fact I was just thinking of you a little while back wondering where you were. Anyway, Perth is about as far west as you can go in Australia. - Millet

Thanks Millet........(You should have seen my mandarin! I will see if i can find a pic of that)............This tree nearly died(lemon)....i pruned it very heavily...fed it mg below and it went nuts....old lady next door thought it was going to die.
The old lady next door(90 odd) said she had never seen so many flowers on a citrus tree as on my mandarin....It went mental.
What i was doing was controversial and sparked great debate on the garden web.
I bought some magnesium fillings of trade me((like e bay) from a guy who insisted it made citrus go nuts...smooth skins with no diseases.....I used it on my in ground citrus and my containers.
Some said it would never break down and when i transplanted there was still some there but i was convinced it drove them crazy.......I will have a dig around for what they looked like and a pic of my dwarf satsuma....cheers Jon
