I think they are finally getting everything up on a new server.

It's due to an automatic DDOS attack detection script which is obviously running in the background.
So if you happen to generate a lot of traffic in a short period of time, you might trigger the script and get banned indeed... Laughing

@Marc - Well, how did you handle your abstinential syndrome? Laughing
I bet you were hanging around the French forum night and day, together with Google bot (who was experiencing the same symptoms)... Very Happy Laughing Laughing

No, it is backed up on their servers. It still has a few bugs, but is running much better.

Sorry to say that, but the message board is operating terribly after a server migration... Confused
I'm getting this error when I try to open a personal message for instance...

Quote:

code*1690*BIGINT UNSIGNED value is out of range in '(`forumorg`.`citrus_users`.`user_unread_privmsg` - 1)'*code*0**

along with a General error, popping out as well...

Quote:

General Error

Could not update private message read status for user

DEBUG MODE

UPDATE citrus_users SET user_unread_privmsg = user_unread_privmsg - 1 WHERE user_id = 3230

Line : 279
File : privmsg.php

Not to mention that date filed (Last posted) of the thread doesn't always get updated along with the thread itself.
Sometimes the new post doesn't appear anywhere at all... the board became very stochastic lately.
Are there any indications, by the owner (forumup.org), that things will be getting better soon?

Although I am a programmer, debugging a phpBB board isn't in my scope... Laughing

Best,
Igor

Yes, they are having a bunch of bugs pop up. They are working on it.

It's more "server migraine" instead of "server migration"! Laughing
