Does anyone know if Spinosad has a shelf life? I don't see anything on the bottle, but I thought I heard that it was made from soil bacteria, so I assume bacteria eventually die. My bottle's probably 2 years old now.

I'm sure that there is some degredation in the formulation over time, but it is not the actual bacteria (as is the case with Dipel), but an extract of the bacteria. They have a chemical structure for it--the actual product is a mixture of several stero isomers. The formulation should be an environment that keeps it from degrading--unless it gets too hot.

But the cost is just too high.
$22 for one pint ready to spray bottle.
I am not ready to spend that much.
I look for the alternative solution.

Funny, I just ordered from that Ebay seller (sunshinehope). I bought grafting tape, Captan, and Calcium Nitrate. I was very happy with their service/products. I wish they had a 8 oz size of that Spinosad. A quart would last me a life time.
