I am looking for input from any Valencia growers about these varieties, or any other Valencia for that matter regarding taste, production, ability to hold fruit on tree etc. This will be container grown outdoors in summer and in for the winter.

MidKnight Valencia is mid-season Valencia.

The tree is moderate size and vigor, which is good for container growing. The tree is more susceptible to gummosis than the other Valencias but can be prevented with three times a year application of copper based fungicide and copper supplements in your fertilizer application. The fruit doesn't stay as long on the tree as the Late Valencia, so you will have to harvest and use them as soon as their flavor peaks, and so you have a shorter time for fruit display.

I am growing Rhode Red Valencia.
It has a more deep colored flesh and juice color and it does very well in my all-time warm growing condition.
As my tree is not large, I only harvest one or three fruits, but fruits are well, peel is good and easy to remove from the flesh. Segments seperate easily and taste is good.
