Do calamondins have thorns cuz mine does i thought tha only lemons have thorns but i am new to citrus so i am mot sure?

Especially when grown from seeds, they are full of thorns, every leaf!

But when they mature, they seem to have fewer thorns, like the grafted ones. But occassionally when there is a vigorous sprout, it will sometimes have thorns, and will not bloom for quite some time.

Speaking of thorns. What about Cara Cara and Ponkan. I just noticed the other day that the two trees (which were ordered from Briteleaf, in January) are starting to get thorns. This started only after (FINALLY) putting on some new growth. Was beginning to think that they were never going to do that. I did not think that they wouldn't get any thorns.... WRONG.
