Was this cal a rooted cutting?

Im getting a great low (but still Meiwa) shoot on my bought 'quat, and im waiting till it gets long enough to air-layer it.

Mine and hubbies Conures have a family to contend with.. Though they do prefer "owners" company..
I think they were feeling left out as we have been showing more attention to the new baby bird in the house.. I picked mine up to take him out and hubbies bird followed after wanting to go out also.. so I took both out.. I think they needed it..
But they will "play ball" or take walks with anyone who picks them up..
They are quite friendly.. They love to play outside in the sun shine.. their wings are trimed so I have no worries of them taking off..

yes Laaz.. Don't think I'm ever going to make that mistake again Shocked It was too costly the first time..

I have had great luck with rooting cuttings of root stock.. Not so much with any thing else.. Maybe I'll give it a try again later this year..
Think I am going to wait till next year to try air layering again.. I didn't even think to check how the air layering was doing before I trimed the branch off when George got sick.. Confused hind sight.. ugh..
Learn, Learn, Learn, and Learn some more.. there is always more to learn..

Ok, so the Thai lime cutting was doing well in the bag, but would wilt after 1-2 days with the bag off. I had looked carefully after about a month, with no root showing. In a last ditch effort, I took it outside on a humid day and let the heat of the patio have its way. . Its definately lost leaves, but is not dead. I gently checked today, and it has 1 root!

May not be the most efficient method, but it worked. (?)

Ive got to get some more coir dust/soil and try to air layer my super-low Meiwa branch.
