Gina, Merry CHRISTmas to you and your lovely family. When a store clerk tells me "Happy Holidays", I usually respond back with Merry Christmas". Many stores say Happy Holidays because the store does not want to offend any of their customers. But if it was not for the birth of Christ, Christmas would not exist. Jesus is the exact reason for the season. I am so happy, and excited that your health is returning and you are feeling better. We have missed you on the forum for the last year. WELCOME BACK. - Millet (763-)

I sometimes give them a blank stare and ask them what holiday is that. After an awkward moment if they don't reply I'll smile and say Merry Christmas. Sometimes they will say we can't use that word. How ridiculous is that. We have a holiday, named after Christ whose birthday we are celebrating, that nearly everyone embraces but don't say his name. You might offend someone.
Happy Birthday Jesus!

Merry Christmas to all of my Citrus Friends! I dont go shopping at enough big box stores to experience the " Happy Hollidays" greeting! You guys keep up the good work! Boycott any store that is so politically correct that their employees cant say the word Christmas!
