I think that "c. paradisi cv. Sotchi" in Tintori collection is from Menton.

I have never seen that plant, so everything I know about this "Sotchi" variety is, what I read in Mr. Broza article about his visit in Menton. He wrote that c. paradisi "Sotchi" come to Menton as a gift from Sotchi in 1990, because Menton and Sotchi are twinning cities. He described this variety as a strange pear-shaped grapefruit with pink seeds.
Maybe original name of this c. paradisi "Sotchi" is Grusevidnyj, but it is not the variety, which I described at the beginning of this topic. |
