I planted some citrus seed a few years back of either Changshou Kumquat or Shekuasha (the seeds got mixed up). The tree is now blooming like crazy, BUT all the blooms are purplish-pink. All the literature that I read says both the Changshou and Shekuasha have white blooms. I don't remember who I got the seed from. - Millet

Purple / pink, would normally be a lemon or citron.

Millet, my Meyer and Bearss lemons are both pink/purple, and loaded with flowers right now. My Buddha's Hand also has pink/purple flowers on it.

Thanks to both of you. The tree must be either some type of lemon, or citron. I'll just have to wait until the fruit develops to find out. - Miller

There are many plants having puple tinted flower petals...
Most true citrons do have puple tinted petals. Some old varieties have true white flowers... my "Corsican" Citron has white flowers and even no extra joint betwen leaf blade and leaf stalk, and many old "Buddhas Hand" varieties also miss this extra joint... Signs of true lemons, on with puple tinted petals, one without...
So, "Rangpur" Mandarine-Lime has also purple tinted flowers, my "Rough Lemon" has some purple tinged flowers.
My Citrus hystrix has also slight puple tinted flowers... Also my "Volkamer Lemon" has puple tinted flowers....

So... "Rangpur" isn't a lemon, more something of a hybrid of mandarine and lime or lemon. Strange that also "Rough Lemon" isn't a true lemon, but has the same puple tinted flowers....

So let's see what you got, but there's more than only lemon and citron, with puplish flowers.
