Some member are using the Jacks High Performance 25-5-15 25lbs. So it must be good. Called my area garden center listed on their website where you can buy Jr Peter fert. Seems they don't carry the high performance, only the smaller tubs with different NPKs. Is it available only to order on line? 25lbs would last me forever. Did not see smaller quanties for purchace. Right now i use GRO.FINE 24-8-16 all purpose with micronutrients.

The Peters company is marketing 25-5-15 to the commercial greenhouse and nursery trade, and not to retail . Therefore it is only packaged in 25-lb. bags. You can purchase 25-5-15 on line from A.M. Lenard Company, but it will still be in a 25-lb. bag. You might also see if some one on this form would want to go in with you and split a bag- Millet

I buy the Jacks Fertilizer from AM Leonard. Usually around the end of November until the beginning of December they have a winter promotion of free ground shipping with no minimum order. I can't remember if they do this any other time of the year but it might be worth adding your name to their email list to know when these promotions come up.

I just got an email for free shipping at A.M. Leonard until 3/31/14 if you use the promo code:

3D14P

This way you could have the Jacks 25-5-15 25lb bag for $41.49 shipped to your door.

Very nice of you to inform us!! Just ordered myself a bag. Should last me years - hopefully there is no expiration date on it.

Keep it in a cool, dry, dark spot and it should be fine for years.
