Tomorrow, January 22, 2008, at around 7pm (the time may vary, so check the listing for your local station), Stan is secheduled to appear on "Making it Grow", a weekly program put on by the SC Extension Service. This is an airing of a previously recorded program that took place at Stan's Nursery a few months ago.
If you aren't able to view it tomorrow, you can watch via streaming video soon afterwards. Here is the link that will take you to the proper web page tp view the streaming video:

Thanks I enjoyed the interview with Stan-it was good to see his cold protection with microjet sprinklers, the young olive trees and of course some fine looking collards-you have to watch a fair bit of video before they get to Stan-but it is worth the wait. _________________

Regretfully, I could never get the video to play. I kept getting the message below. - Millet
Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is on another computer, verify that you are connected to the network. If you typed a path, verify that it is correct. If the problem persists, the server might not be available. |

For anyone who couldn't get it to play, paste this link in your browser address bar & hit enter. You have to copy the 01-22-08 as well.

Thanks Lazz. There seems to be some sort of glich with their website, but your fix does the job.
I would add that, if you want to skip other parts of the show, you can drag the time line control (which is directly below the picture) to 36 minutes. That is about where Stan's interview begins.

I got it to work on my home PC, but not my work PC during lunch. I wonder if there's security settings that prevent it from being viewed. Wait, the fix that Laaz had just worked, but it took a little while (the amount of time to type this message). I wonder if it just needs time to spool before it plays? 'May also want to check to see if you have the latest windows media player installed.

Millet you need to add the 01-22-08 to the end of that link. Because of the spaces in it, the last part is not included in the link. Copy the whole thing, not just the link. _________________ Wal-Mart a great place to buy cheap plastic crap ! http://walmartwatch.com/ ...

Will never be able to play anything that launches Windows Media Player that passes certain parameters. It is one of the worst security breach that can happen so my sotware firewall stops anything launched that way. |
