Has anyone heard from Skeeter ? It's been over a year since he has posted. I hope everything is OK with him.

I have wondered the same thing. I always enjoyed his posts.

I would guess Joe Real has sent Skeeter a sample of AZ41. If so he would know is actual name and address. - Millet (544-)

I think Darkman knows him and might know how he is.

I have missed his postings also. His lisbon lemon and its other grafts always caught my interest.

I have talked to Skeeter several times most recently about 1 1/2 months ago. He was over at the house about three months ago looking at my layout. He has such a diverse lifestyle with many different interest pulling him from all directions. I have mentioned that I haven't seem him on this and other boards. Being retired he can pretty much do anything he wants. As far as I know everything is good with him he is just living a very full life. I'm envious! I'll give him a call.

I talked to Skeeter today and all is well. It is as I suspected. He is staying extremely busy. He has just finished his blueberry harvest (another of his interest that I share) He has quite a few plants and sells a lot of them. The harvest is time consuming and starts in May. He also does some freelance writing which ties up his computer time. He recently completed an article on the myths and facts of organic gardening. I can't wait to read it. He said that he hopes to be able to visit soon. Addtionally his son (lives out of state) adopted a baby and he now has a new grandson that he spent some time visiting with. I am truly very lucky to have him living nearby. He is a great resource for my bananas, blueberrys and citrus. Next year I hope to tap his wine making knowledge. Very Happy
