Hello all of you, I have missed many of you so much!

I am back despite losing almost all of my citrus due to circumstantial events. I moved suddenly, plants were badly treated, and did not tought the new (lacking) conditions of my new abode. I have 1 Yuzu left!!!

I write to you all with cool news...I left my field of stress and clinical research/ Pharma, and am currently doing a proffesional diploma with the Botanical Gardens of Montréal. I will be completing it next feb (2011) and will be doing an asp (specialization) which touches bonzai, tropicals, and design. I plan to do a correspondence course in landscape design while avidly working as a gardener, hopefully for the bot gardens themselves, or for city burrows, while I do said corresp. course. Long term goal, my own boss, landscape design, and possibly greenhouse construction consultation.

All to say, I`m sorry for my absence, life throws us loops, but I`m finally on my perfect path. Smile I am currently studying element ( mac/mic) deficiency/toxicity. TEST|ME or just ask advice! : ) The experts here will courtly correct me if my speculation is wrong Wink

Help me study!

Love all the old gang, look forward to meeting the new and want to contribute!

Cheers!

*side note..Botanical gardens of Montréal is the second biggest and best botanical garden in the world...ours started with le Frère Mari Victorin....sounds like a girl, but it is not, brother mari-victorin...mari was a second name added to alot of boys names by default jean....-mari or jean-guy-mari- or francois-mari...oddly the women were marie-francoise, marie-helene, marie-josephine.....

We have species in the garden dating back to 1931 - the genus/species escapes me, but they were specimens, (clippings!) brought over via boat ...no customs to deal with then eh? Without these explorers of the botanical world, we would be primitive in our knowledge today.

Side note: My school says we are on the verge of az taxanomic revolution...all the names are but beginning to change nomenclature, based more or less on advancement of genetic analysis. They are realizing two similar species (alleged), are not genetically similar at all on closer examination, therefore....even the latin names we know as full proof will be evolving....Blame the genome project, not me!!!!

Gnite all
