how can i save pollen?

Say for example, my moro blood orange and gold nugget mandarin are in bloom at completely different times. can i freeze the pollen until i need it and actually pollinate and create hybrids this way?

Oven drying at 37 ° C for 12 hours. Then frozen at -20 ° C with silica gel.
Keeps one year.
