Orange season in Pakistan

The orange harvest is well under way in the eastern Pakistani city of Sargodha this week. This agricultural area, with its many orange orchards, lies some 150 kilometres southwest of the capital Islamabad. Sargodha, Pakistan. 18/01/2010.

World citrus exports are valued $2.135 billion in which Pakistan’s share is just $33 million or around 2.5 percent because of exports mainly going to low priced countries.
