Benny,
If you stick with the varieties that I would recommend to you, you surely will have flowers and fruits.

Joe:
The 3 kinds that you gave me lost in the shuffle. Don't know now which one out of the many bananas that I moved and transplanted except one that stayed small even after a year.
Now that I transferred it to the ground it started to perk up. It is now 3 feet tall. But I don't know the variety anymore.
I'd post a pic soon.

That's really nice Laaz - thanks for sharing. That must be the IC (?)
So now, when those bananas are done, the plant dies back & gets pups for next year?
Benny, someone sent me email w/unusual pics like this. I right click on pic & put it in 'my pictures' then put it in photobucket to post here. You can do that now...right click on the pic & then click 'save as' _________________ Patty

Benny your in about the same climate as I am so you should have no problem.
Patty yes that is the ice cream & the other one right next to it is about ready to fruit as well. The pups come up all year but Millet advised me to remove the pups as they take nutrients from the main plant. It has a bunch now & I will leave the best one to grow to replace this one. |
