I have been away from the board for a few different reasons, mostly because I just can not play nice with a few numskulls here and I do not want to clutter the board. Other factors have kept me away too, my computer business is super slow and being self-employed, that is always bad. I am trying to get a property investment company off the ground. I have a new child, a son, born on 7/14. His cord was so tight around his neck that the Dr. had to stop my wife and cut the cord with only his head and neck out, but the Good Lord was watching over him and doctors say he should have no permanent effects, because they estimate he was without oxygen for less than 3 minutes. After fighting my insurance company for a year, my house has finally been getting re-roofed and the crew was not prepared for the rain and guess what happened? Interior guy is supposed to start tomorrow. I am finally going to court this month on a default hearing about some tenants that destroyed a rental and owe me $6247.00. The process started in April.

Edit: I also had surgery today to remove one of the screws in my knee.

Through all of this commotion, I have managed to kill one satsuma and the rest of my citrus is in pretty bad shape, but my banana and pineapple (started from head,) are thriving. I am circling the wagons around my potted citrus this weekend to prepare for the winter. I am going to be sticking the pots in the ground around my banana, so I can construct a makeshift visqueen tepee around the whole lot this winter.
