Shocked Not a single blood?

But seriously, there are some varieties that have nice looking fruits. I've been trying to browse the site for more info but it's kinda hard...

Embarassed I know only about 2 pigmented japanese cultivars, first one - エクリーク65 (Ekuriku 65) aka Red Ponkan we discussed here:
link
and the second one is Aka Kabosu - red Kabosu.

Thanks Radoslav!

I'd like to know more about Hybrid No.1 オレンジカラタチ中間母本農1号
Trovita Orange + Trifoliate orange (cell fusion) somatic hybrid. I wonder how it tastes? Cold hardiness? I will have to wait many years before I can attempt this hybrid myself.

according to: http://www.naro.affrc.go.jp/org/fruit/kih/data/tyubo/orangekaratachi01.html
"... fruit resembles orange in appearance, cannot be eaten out of hand, because it is extremely acidic, membranes are bitter ..." - (no mention of poncirus taste.)

Takagi mandarin 高 木 蜜 柑

citrus leiocarpa x citrus unshiu

Originated from Takagi`s orchard in Yokosecho. Tree smaller than satsuma tree. Ripening November/December. Fruit of medium size, very flat. Skin thiner than on satsuma, hard to peel.
Aroma similiar to citrus leiocarpa, taste sweeter than satsuma.
