I have read your reply and appreciate your thoughts on this. Cash is not really an issue. I am using the Osmocote Plus. Will also use the citrus tone like you suggest.

I will also look into the other products you recommended. First, though, I want to digest the info you provided.

Thanks again!

Dynamite make a slow release fertilizer with minor elements that is close to citrus needs.

If you're going to start out with the Osmocote Plus and Citrus Tone, I would keep using them for a while to give them a chance before switching products.

Up to you though, good luck!

There have been studies made by several universities that show that there are much better slow release fertilizers than Osmocote. They have(had) the worst pattern of release of all the slow /timed release fertilizers tested.
Dumped a very large portion of the nutrients over about a 6 or 7 day span after about a 30 to 40 day period for a 90 day formula. Was listed on a chart in graph form . I use to own a nursery and went to a seminar put on by the University and the state , but thats been about 20 years ago -maybe the have improved their product. I like nutricote for containers

Yikes! This is what I've been using! Maybe I will look into the brand Skeeter is talking about. One day, I will buy the Jacks Pro that Millet uses.
