Can someone please clarify me this: are those two the same cultivar? How much they differ?
I live in a pretty cold climate (Florence, central italy) and I'm searching for some grapefuit-like fruit which can be harvested early without the acidity of the classical grapefruit and this one seems a good candidate (also because they apparently seems the require less heat than the standard grapefruit). However, i can just find the Sweetie plants on european markets, sometimes mentioned as oroblanco/sweetie, sometimes mentioned just as oroblanco. Given that i don't know how much effort is should put in searching for the "true" oroblanco clone, if they are the same thing. Some sources indicate them as the same clone, others instead seem to imply they differ but they are very similiar (such as this one: http://users.kymp.net/citruspages/grapefruit.html ). Any thought/experience by people wich have had/heard about both?
One more think, how hardy is the sweetie grapefruit? Any personal experience regarding that?
Thank you.
