Hi everyone,

how are we doin?

I'm looking for avocado scionwood...

Hass would be ABSOLUTELY perfect !!
I don't know much about Bacon and Mexicola (Grande) as far as taste is concerned though but most people seem to say they are OK!

Fuerte is known to be a favorite too but I always get the feeling that somehow the skin is way to think and it is often subject to anthracnosis!

I'm starting to think I should consider wearing a sign "WILL DANCE FOR AVOCADO SCIONWOOD"...

Wonder if I'll be anymore successful!! Laughing

Are you in Southern California?
If so, I recommend that you join the CRFG
California Rare Fruit Growers, Orange County
because 2008 is going to be the Year of the Avocado!

Our scionwood exchanges are coming up in January and you
could find lots of varieties from members of local chapters.
