I have recently had a well put in and I'm wondering about the change my trees will experience going from a city water supply that is about 7.0 to the well water which is around 5.0. I know that is a big change. I don't suspect my blueberries will mind but I know that citrus prefer a higher PH. Not sure about Figs. I also have Bananas and my vegetable garden to consider as well.

What are your thoughts?

Add a little lime if needed.

Congratulations on your new well! I have a similar issue, although not as extreme! My water comes out at 6.0ph. 5.0 is too low for drinking also, I use a large home Calcite Filter for general PH rise( brings it just under 6.5) and crushed coral as a post RO mineralization filter to bring it to 7.3.
