Gina, congrats on the new additions to your grove. If you get a chance post these pictures over at GW, so that members of that forum get an objective look for themselves of the quality stock available from Four Winds rather than the endless tirade of one person's opinion.

Thanks!!!!
Millet,,, my baby girl will be on cloud nine for the rest of the week and then some.. Thanks!! Very Happy
Kent, Sorry.. I gave up on GW when they started that new policy thing.. I'm not big on having tracing of my use.. And a few other reasons I won't go into.. I did what I could to close down my account.. Posting pics over there was such a pain.. I love posting pics when there is a button or something..
The rest of my "grove" is in sad shape.. but I haven't given up on it all yet.. so long as there is still green there is still hope right??
I'll probably write a new post about them tomorrow..

Stan is definitely the MAN for the budgetly challenged!!! and now that my tax return is gone and then some.. that fits me!! LOL I do have a short list of some more stuff I will be ordering from Stan..
All of the 4 winds trees are the 2-3 yr trees.. Mainly because they don't carry what I wanted in 1 yr trees.. I could have gotten the Meiwa in 1 yr and that is it.. If I had ordered the 1 yr I would not have gotten the fruit though..
Hubby has gotten interested in the citrus addiction.. and if it weren't for that my citrus budget would have been over cut in half.. think it was all the pictures every one post here.. and we sampled buncha fruit we would not "normally" purchase due to cost.. that.. and well the rest of my trees are not much more than sticks at this point.. and hubby felt bad for me and my moment of not thinking clearly..
A#1 rule.. don't touch the plants when you are not thinking clearly!!!!
I checked the roots lastnight.. and the roots are almost non existent.. burnt to a crisp.. I cut off as much of the dead nasty roots as I could last night and repotted every thing.. again.. but they lost soo much root that it was necessary.. 3 still have leaves... those three had a bit of roots left.. one has no leaves and very little root.. I had to throw out the clementine and tangelo seedlings.. no roots and no leaves.. the stem was still green.. but I figured is only a matter of time.. George and Nola had no roots or leaves.. well.. I couldn't bring myself to just throw them out.. the stem is still green.. yes just root stock I know.. and no roots at all.. but.. I cut off all the nasty part.. and prepared them like I would cuttings... Probably a waste of my time.. but.. my attachment to them won't let me just give up while there is still any green to them....

OH Gina i am so sorry about your Plants ...

I learned a long time ago (with my seahorses and changes to reef tank) some of the lessons in learning you have to do for yourself ...

seahorses where easy while i would raise fry of many spiecies to adult hood others struggles when they would say small tank not a tall tank for fry id go get a 20 g long .. others would get 1-2 gallon tanks and the water q is hard to controll.. but when i switched to a reef tank Omgosh its so different i killed rock coral and my clean up crews left and right and all due to the fact with seahorses you dnt use a water pump .. with a reef you have too .. I stayed with it and now i have a 200 G reef that people come to see instead of me LOL .. Stick with your Citrus im sure someone here has been threw this befor and will have some advice .. Tammy
