A gift from bencelest (Benny). I think this is going to be a late season mandarin. By this time, my Satsumas are almost gone, while Yosemite Gold is still green. One of the fruits cracked earlier, and I tasted that, and it was already sweet. Perhaps when they truly ripen they will be sweeter than my sats. Either way, I will have a longer harvest season from all of my mandarins. I just don't know when these are going to ripen. Thank you Benny!

Joe R. according to "Tropics In Subtropics" Shasta Gold, Tahoe Gold, Yosemite Gold and Golden Nugget are all seedless and are all late matureing varieties. With your talent, you could make an "full" season tree using early season mandarins like Clementine, and some mid season mandarins and then some of the "Gold...." varieties for late season. - MIllet

Thanks Millet. The only thing missing from my list of patented cultivars is the Gold Nugget. Will try to buy that next year. But you know, with my multigrafts and everything else, I will always have seeds on my citrus fruits. I am pushing away from winter harvests to enjoy sweeter citruses.

Joe:
Yes, I have the Yosemite gold fruits they are still green and so are the fruits of the Clemenules you gave me. This is their first year fruit and still in 15 gallon pot. I'd take a pic soon. But really I don''t know which ones are late or early it seems to me that most of my citrus are giving me fruits all year because when some fruits are just getting bigger more flowers are starting to bloom and so on.
But I am not complaining. It is just that I seem to have fruits on my trees all of the time.
