Laaz:
Great photos and great trees!
They're so lush and green.
One question:
I've been wanting to know how you can draw a line in a part of a picture by encircling a look- alike- pencil -line around that part for emphasis but noone ever show me how.
You are a computer whiz so please do tell.

Great plants Laaz!

You can strip off the outer brown non-green sheaths from Ice Cream. This will help enhance more photosynthesis. I remove the brown leaves and dried sheath. It will be more beautiful and more productive.

Hi Benny. I use Photoshop which is one of the best photo editing software available. Most any photo editing software will have that option as well.

Hi Joe. Thanks again for the budwood, everything took great. I'll get to the banana tomorrow. The dead leaves are from this winter, but it never got cold enough to stop growing. Hopefully I'll get some fruit from it this summer. Its top leaves are as tall as my two story house.

As always, your trees look very nice Laaz. Is your back deck finished? The Silverhills that I got from Bonnie (grafted on Flying Dragon) has also started to flush. Last week I noticed a new 2 inch long growth flush had started, and this morning when I was checking on it the new flush is now 4 inches long. Also another bud has started to send out yet another flush. I've looked for a Silverhills for a long time. Thanks to Bonnie Childers I finally got one. I also really like his BC-2 Mandarin (BC short for Bonnie Childress). - Millet

Hi Millet. Yes the deck is done 16 x 30 foot. I was also searching for a Silverhill for quite a long time. Bonnie was kind enough to send me a large stock of fresh budwood (Silverhill, Owari, BC1, Obawase, EF, LA Early, Early St Ann, Brown Select etc....). I have a ton of budded Satsumas going thank to Bonnie.

Laaz, those plants & pics are great! Makes me proud to have met you & seen some of your plants. I'm jealous of your deck (saw parts of it)-- wish my 9 X 16 was bigger now.
I can't understand why your Meyer's are doing so well when so many of us are having problems with them (?).
Do you still have my name on one of those 'ice cream banana' pups?Getting roots yet? Laughing
I sure hope that storm didn't do much damage to you people way over there....power out & big hail & winds, YUK. I can't stand our unusual cold & rain for 3 weeks now!!! I'd give anything for a warm sunny day.
Benny, I have a cheapo Logitech quik cam & I plug cam in puter & it puts pics in my logitech pic folder which has an editor. Where ever you place your pics to, may have an editor. Click on the 'pencil' icon & play with it. From there I have to put pics in MY PICTURES on puter, & then to Photobucket & from there to here...whew! Don't know if it's that hard for others to post pics.
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY..my son took me to a champaigne brunch & I pigged out & then won $25.00 on slots! Still stuffed like a piggy, but had a nice day Wink

Laaz and Patty:
Thanks for the info.
Actually I have a Photoshop.
I asked my son to teach me how to do it ( you know kids know a lot nowadays, he even made moving pictures from my Sony camera with their swords singing while they spar with each other like in Star War movies, and he said he learned it himself) and he said it is easier in 'Paint' and he will teach me after school today.
