Rob & Sybil from Paradise Nursery are going out of business this year.
Today,March 1st, is the first day to order from them till they run out. I bought my first tree from them almost 5 yrs ago (B.T.) and they are excellent to deal with & more than glad to answer any questions. Here is a link to tips on growing, ferts, winterizing etc, and even has fig recipes.

Just heard they are sold out - less than 48 hours. Shocked
There is still still good growing info on their site.

Patty, I got in just in the knick of time. I thought I was sly by putting it on my calendar last fall. I logged into their site the morning of March 1st and many varieties sold out. I wanted the Jack Thomas Quarter Pounder! Still, I think I got some nice varieties I haven't tried before: Elegant Violette Black, Conadria & Southern Magnolia Figs.

Their recipes seem very enticing. Especially the fig wine!

Hey Chops, glad you got your foot in the door & got to order.
You know, between all of us that got these cuttings from UCDavis, I'm sure we will have plenty to trade (or for postage) once they root. I have about 40 cuttings from them of 14 varieties -- besides the 5 varieties I have LOL.
I checked out the fig wine recipe - it's new since I was there last! Maybe I'll have enough figs to do couple gallons.
