As of today, our frost is at least more than ten days away in the forecast. About 15 years ago, we have the frost as early as halloween. We now have significantly warmer winters even with the arctic blast last year. Ten days from now, our lows would still be in the 40's. So that is at least 19 days of delay since halloween. |

So far, we have accumulated 20 chilling hours for this season, but no frost for at least 2 weeks. |

This first frost here was very mild. 10 day forecast says we are going back up in the 70's and 80's with lows in the 40;s and 50's. _________________ Wal-Mart a great place to buy cheap plastic crap ! http://walmartwatch.com/ ...

We had a very mild frost on Wednesday-- the day before yours-- We are zone 9 in Pensacola. I still had my seedlings (including key limes) outside under my shade cloth and have not had any leaf drop. _________________ Skeet

No frost yet, but it could come at most any time. I am in zone 8b, but our weather is effectivly zone 9, beacause of the we are very close to the coast.

Here on the high plains of eastern Colorado we have had quite a few frosts and some freezes already. Pretty soon we will begin getting a freeze each and every night through the months of December, January, February and up until March. Our average last freeze is May 10th. |

We are expecting to see a snow later this week. _________________
