Not sure I am quite qualified to prove or disprove the idea of anthropogenic global warming (or that I even believe in the concept for that matter) but I would have to guess that curbing carbon emissions would likely have long term positive effects on the overall health of the world. I do not have a degree in science but I would be suprised if it was healthy to breathe the air in Los Angeles (yes, 'healthy' is relative). I could be wrong though and unlike Al Gore, I will admit it when I am wrong. That said cleaner air and anthropogenic global warming are different topics and I am aware of that. I agree with you that it is rediculous that there would be censorship when it comes to such an important topic. Anyone who appreciates science must know how important it is to always have as much information on a topic as possible even if it is contrary to what one hopes to hear (devil's advocate is a role I've always appreciated as it keeps everyone honest). This is especially true when it becomes an economic and tax issue. Doesn't really suprise me to see Newt and Adolf in the same paragraph by the way
On a side note, has anyone seen the episode of That's Impossible on the History Channel about weather manipulation??? If you havn't you should check it out, it was pretty interesting. Not sure I quite buy into everything they talk about reguarding weather warfare but the prospects of weather manipulation for real world applications is pretty interesting.
