They're quite easy from seed, so long as you don't dry out the seed too much before planting. I like to plant them still wet, from the fruit.

But no, they do not come true-to-type from seed. Still, if you take seeds from a very good fruit, they should carry some of those genetics, so you might get lucky.

Thank you Malcolm. Unfortunately when I bought them they were dry. I'll have to try a fresh fruit from the grocery store.
