I always heard that Colorado gets lots of snow but it melts off right away.
We are getting lows of mid 30's & high of mid 50's for next few days with lots of wind. Seems Jan. was warmer!
Can't wait to get my plants outside.

As I wrote last night the California snow storm has arrived here in Colorado. It is snowing sidewise. Winds are 40 miles per hour out of the north. Snow flakes falling from the clouds over Wyoming are landing in my yard in Colorado. The Rocky Mountains west of me now have about 30 FEET OF SNOW on the ground. - Millet

California farmers have suffered severe losses because of too much rains. Alfalfa crops have been devastated, the prolonged rainy days have literally drowned the crops. Milk prices would be high. Expected reduction of yield of apricots and almonds...

And... it is going to rain again today, it is 2:21 am this morning and was watching the forecast and was inspired to write about our wonder weather...

Weather Wonder

I wonder about the weather.
It's anything but normal these past 15 years.

It's not going to be normal for the coming years.

Have no fear, this is just an anomaly,
as Mr. Bush would say.

No wonder.
