You mean you have never been able to make a back-up copy of the files and the DB???!
It means you could loose everything in a second!

With my internet provider (Free is its name) I can have as many sites that I want for free and I can do what I want with the files and DB.
I cannot imagine a site an other way.

I don't think that is what he is saying. The current host site has everything backed up and it is safe.

It is just not available to Laaz in a manner that would facilitate packing everything up and moving to a new host.

Ah! Ok.
You mean he can make a back-up but cannot reach it? It stays on the provider side?
