I have picked several Owari fruits from one tree and noticed that one and only one of them had a Navel. Not so much on the outside but there was a immature segmented fruit inside.

Is that a "navel" type???

I've noticed this too in some store bought mandarin fruits (I forget the variety), very interesting.

It is common on my Owari trees. At first I thought I really had a limb sport but then realized there were several of them on each tree.
