Son of a gun. My semi new Limequat was ripped out of the ground and broke almost all the roots. So I put it back into the ground, staked the crap out of it, and just watered it with some Plant starter fert. What else should I be doing?

I feel for you. I got 2 of my tree roses snapped in half and all the fruits of my pink lady apples fall off, earlier in the season due to strong winds. I have several ornamental trees uprooted also.

You might spray with an antitranspirant, like Cloud Cover
or maybe cover it with poly-film to keep it in moist air.
This wind storm was a douzy! And the humidity got down
to 4%.
