Just saw some weird fruit when i inspected my little variegated Calamondin.

Interesting! Looks like mini Ugli.

Does your variegated calamondin have less sourness than standard calamondin?

Just compared the taste between the normal calamondin and this one.
Fruit from this one is a little sweeter and more manderine like

Agree with Laaz, this looks like citrus blossom mite damage. Fruit will taste the same, just be distorted.

Grad, thanks for the taste test. I find the same with my variegated calamondin too. I wonder if the same thing happens with other variegated citrus?

Grad, as Laaz suggested, you may want to have a look at this page Citrus bud mite.
I doubt it to be a bud mutation or some other trait which could be propagated.
