My Keylimes are yellow? Had a little WLD, getting some new growth. I'm Picking a few now, i thought limes are supposed to be green? or do they turn yellow if they are over ripe? or did the WLD cause this? My Keylime was out side for the summer with my Eureaka Lemon, Navel, and Blood Orange. Could it be possible cross pollination from the other trees, i had them on the deck lined up together? I'm so excited, i pick my first Blood orange! I was suprised it was totaly seedless!!! soooo jucy, sweetness was ok, but the orange skin was full of moisture spraying all over when peeling it, you don't get that with store bought citrus!

yellow key lime is a ripe key lime. Mine are all yellow when I harvest them. You can pick them green and use them but mine are juicier when fully ripe.
cross pollination will only effect the seeds in the fruit and the tree produced from those seeds.

Yep-yellow is ripe.
Mine tend to drop at this point, best to pick them when they turn yellow. Get a little wind and they all are on the ground.
