Thanks Ivica, great post. Croatia is a beautiful country. Wow, that's a lot of mandarins! I see they will be heading to Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury's? I will pick up a bag and try them out! Which variety of mandarin are they? How hardy are they? Do they have seeds?

I guess that those mandarins disappears fast from shelves, be fast, good luck.

Probably mostly Unshiu but I have no idea what varitey those should be, the list of possible ones is long.
Hardiness: something in line with -8C, -10C if exposed a few hours only.
I have no exact data per specific variety.

Mostly seedless, but that also depends on variety.

More about varietes:
I have data of citrus introduction (given by Dr. Z. Gatin) only for period 1965-84 and for one experimental field. Here is the list, splited in 2 parts:
