and a new citrandarin released by Bernard Voss. I obtained the fresh fruit from my friend Balt of www.citrusbali.com in the Netherlands. The taste is typical of a citrandarin, the poncirus taste is clearly present but at the end the blend is nice and palatable, can be eaten out of hand rind and all. the pulp is pleasantly sweet and sour, the rind has little essential oil but a nice perfume, little to no seed. should be frost hardy down to -12C but late ripening; I receive the fruit just before Christmas (thanks Santa Balt Laughing ).
the fruit is smallish, the size is about a limequat tavares

Thanks for the information! This looks like another great cold hardy variety, my citrus wish list is growing Laughing

I find it particularly interesting that the rind is also edible without it having any kumquat parents!

I hope you will plant the seeds to see what they will give you.

Well, I wish I could have found some viable seeds, the but there were only 2 or 3 aborted seeds. Don't think someting will sprout out Sad Anyway, it recently started fruiting at my friend's nursery, so maybe in the next years, there will be some more (and viable) seeds inside. Its use could be comparable to other citrandarin so I think it might be interesting to test it as a rootstock. Honestly, the fruit is tasty but only for citruholics, don't think it will reach any commercial value tough Cool
